What went down (Sport pesa Festival)

Talk about turning up! The sport pesa festival went down yesternight at the Nyayo national stadium and it was nothing short of epic. It proved to me Nairobians cannot do without partying, I mean everyone is complaining about how tough January is financially, in regard to this perception I thought to myself the organizers of the event were nuts to hold such a gig in 'Njanuary,' apparently I was damn wrong. The queue at the gate lengthened by the minute, personally I did not want to attend the event but after seeing the beauties flaunting their flawless egos lining up at the entrance, you know what I did not do, yes, I did not leave of course, just heard to represent 'teammafisi'. From kaka sungura to juacali, nonini, nameless, a stage would be an understatement when describing the podium, it was simply legendary. ADELE Hello from the other side. I'm sitting in a bus just beneath a speaker, i was headed to the countryside to let my hair down for the weekend, from the speaker emerges the perfect voice from this British songstress, saying 'hello', to me, I presume. I mean, isn't she the best in this business? From 'someone like you' to this, and not mentioning her simple videos, the billboard must be super proud of you. Initially I did not understand some people when they said music was their inspiration, but after listening to Adele's latest tear dropper 'hello' I now see or rather feel the sense in real music. The vocals literally rush a shiver down my spine. Girl you the best! can't wait for your album.
